Grove Lake

Grove Lake is a pleasant, well landscaped fishery situated just off Grove Road close to Wickhambreaux.

The approach is down a long, gravelled track leading down to our 3 car parking areas.

The gate at the top of the track is to be kept shut but not locked. The three gates giving access to our car parking must shut and locked after entering & again when leaving.

During the spring of 2026 Grove Lake was redesignated to a carp orientated water & work was carried out to return the lake to a single body of water. A large part of the centre pathway at the south of the lake has been removed and a smaller cut through at the centre of the lake has also been added with a bridge to access the 'Island'.

The lake is fairly shallow, up to 5ft max.

Carp from Birch Lake at Littlebourne are gradually being introduced.

Directions

Access to the track that leads to the lake is via Grove Road, 1.5 miles north of Wickhambreaux & 1 mile south of Grove. The gate at the top of the track should be shut, but not locked, after entering & again when leaving.
